11th December 2009 and 15 years on!
On the evening of 11th December 2009 a raging fire, deliberately started by arsonists, tore through Bodmin Town Band’s bandroom, then at Narissa Hall, Bodmin. The band lost uniforms, instruments, percussion and much of its historic library.
Undaunted and with much local help, the band set about rebuilding and in 2023 the band remarkably made a return to the Championship section.
