Bodmin Town Band - Championship Band in the Heart of Cornwall

In the past few months the band have been lucky enough to have some new players join us, Megan Thomas on Bass Trombone, her sister Grace on Repiano Cornet and Yasmin Stevens on Flugelhorn. 

Our conductor John Maines has said: I’m very pleased that Yasmin has joined us here at BTB. She is a superb player and a fine musician who will be a great asset to our team. I am also delighted to welcome Megan and Grace. They are two shining stars of the young brass band scene in Cornwall, and we are looking forward to the great contribution they will make. 

As well as welcoming new players, our current players have been enjoying a shift in seats, as Rachael and Holly Sargent have both moved from Repiano and Solo Cornet to Solo and Second Horn respectively. With the recent movements in our band we also welcome Karina Smith onto the second Baritone seat.
