One Moment for One Crew
We had a fantastic evening helping to celebrate the One Moment for One Crew at RNLI Rock on 1st August.
Bodmin Town Band were lucky enough to be invited to this part of the 200th anniversary celebrations of the RNLI and performed at Rock Lifeboat Station on the evening of Thursday 1st August. Fortunately, although the station was operational throughout, no call out came to disrupt the evening! The weather was fair and the view across to Padstow was stunning.
After giving a short concert, we were treated to a wonderful barbecue and were delighted to be able to record the event with a combined band and crew photograph for the archive, before the evening ended with a short firework display.
The RNLI is funded solely by public donation and with Cornwall’s extensive and varied coastline, the service they provide is vital, even more during the tourist season.
